Episode 7: Entrepreneur & Chef – Joel Dondis

Joel Dondis is an extremely skilled chef and brilliant entrepreneur. By the age of 11 he was already cooking better than most of us can right now! He attended the Culinary Institute of America in New York, then traveled to Germany to expand his culinary skills, landing a job working at the Michelin-rated Schloss Hotel and Restaurant. After that, he came back to New Orleans to work as Emeril Lagasse’s Sous Chef. He then went on to found a very successful catering and event planning company, as well as two award winning restaurants and an award winning dessert and chocolate company. Apart from an amazing backstory, Joel has an amazing journey in learning to shoot sporting clays. He has worked tremendously hard to shorten his learning curve, and has done really well with it! It’s his unique approach to learning and self improvement that I think we can all learn from in this podcast!
